Présentation of the Domaine Musical de Pétignac

It was last century, in May 1986, that Gerard Fauvin and his wife Fabienne, settled down in the Charente region of South West France and created the Domaine Musical of Petignac, in Jurignac. It was a revelation when they saw this “Maison de Maître” that used to belong to an important winemaker and spirits broker. Since then the cognac barrels have been replaced by almost 200 pianos. Upright, baby grand, grand, piano-fortes, ancient pianos and harpsichords. We celebrate this year thirty-three years of happiness, achievements, service and meetings with extraordinary people and clients.

Here we are then, thirty three years later, tuning and suppling the most beautiful pianos for concerts and festivals, restoring pianos and making restoration a noble art, training men and women for a marvelous craft they will love for the rest of their lives, transmitting a knowledge, a know how, a living art, and most importantly, doing out best to simply satisfy all our clients. We still believe they are. The numerous concerts and hustles and bustles that happen and are organized at the Domaine Musical in Petignac, in our small “Steinway and Sons Auditorium” make it a privileged link with all of you.
